Is it really possible to lose more fat, just by breathing deeply? Before I answer that question, it should be obvious that one must eat wisely and exercise to continue losing fat.
breathing deeply does have its place and the fat burning process. Molecules of oxygen are necessary for the creation of adenosine triphosphate. Adenosine triphosphate is a key energy source in the metabolic (calorie burning) process. Fat burning won’t simply happen by itself unless you get enough oxygen. Overcoming the typical shallow breathing pattern that most people have will help to feed your metabolic furnace so that it burns red hot.

It’s hard for anyone to stay on a strict diet and exercise program. If you mess up one day and pig out or if you miss a workout or two, don’t beat yourself up about it. Don’t let a day or two or even a week of weakness completely sabotage your progress. Guess what, those people you see at the gym with "perfect" bodies, they mess up too. They have days where they feel fat and ugly because they may have given in to a tub of ice cream or a large order of french fries.

During a study of 12 men that ate a mere 0.9 g of ground chili peppers in pill form or mixed in with a tomato beverage this helped to reduce food intake by as much as 10%. In fact, the liquid mixture 16% decrease in food intake among participants. The subjects who started with the peppers, chose less calorie dense foods than those who didn’t start with peppers. They have been other studies that have shown eating a spicy meal can fire up a person’s metabolism by as much as 25%, and keep the metabolism hyped up for as many as three hours afterward.
