Subway Sandwiches Suck
Subway Sandwiches Suck

It is my personal opinion that Subway, once know for selling the tastiest, “healthiest” sandiwches in all the land, really sucks.
First, let’s look at the screencap of a most recent Subway commercial featuring their spokesperson Jared, and professional wrestler turned action star turned flop reverted back to wrestling star and super sellout John Cena. This commecrial boasts how a beautiful sub should look while being low in fat. First, when is the last time anyone has ever seen a sandwich from Subway look like that? Those subs are piled high with yummy deli meats and veggies on a beautifully sliced loaf of fresh bread. This is NOT what a sandwich from subway looks like here on earth. The only way you’re going to get a sandwich piled high like that is if you pay for 5x the meat and 3x the vegetables. This is just total bullshit.
Second, let’s look at Subway’s spokesperson, Jared. Wow, he had some kind of story where he was a big fat slob who lived off of mostly Subway sandwiches. He’s still a fat slob. Take a look at this guy. He’s a mess. He has lose skin and absolutely no muscle tone. In these commecials and in other advertising featuring jared, he always has some loose slacks on and a los0e button down shirt. I would love to see a pic of this guy with his shirt off. He has man tits. He has a double chin. He’s NOT what a picture of health is.
Thired, let’s look at John Cena. He’s a pumped up wrestler who gets paid for his muscular body, athleticism, and good looks. I promise you, he doesn’t factor subway sandwiches into his diet. These sandwiches are most likely “bad day” snacks if anything else.
Forth, omg, look again at those sandwiches in the commercial.
Now, let’s talk about what really happens at Subway. I have been dining at Subway for around 10 years. I can remember when Subway got very popular during the low-fat dieting faze. The sandwiches served up by subway back then were a great value. The meat looked okay and the portions were generous.
I no longer give Subway my money. After numerous, consecutive, stomach turning, bad experiences with the service and the food at several locations from Louisiana to Alabama, I just can’t find a reason to eat at a Subway restaurant ever again. I wish I would have taken a picture of the sandwiches I have received the last few times I ate there. The little, cut up, over processed chicken in those little high school lunch portion trays is enough to make me want to vomit. There’s more fat and gel preservatives visible in that poultry than my eyes can take or my stomach can handle. This is pretty standard for all the meat I see at subway. I am partial to chicken so I notice that the most.
I don’t see how they can show such yummy looking subs in their commercials. When I get my usual, buffalo chicken on wheat with lettuce, pickles, onions, bell pepper, banana pepper, and tomatoes, the “fixins” are still completely hidden once that top layer of bread is put back in place. I asked if I could have more lettuce and pickles on my sub and was informed it would cost extra. Are you kidding me? subway sucks!
