From Fat To Fit In High School

This is how I went from an overweight, out of shape , 235 pound, 18 year old,  male senior in high school to a lean and mean 215 18 year old high school Adonis.

Over the next few weeks (or days if I’m really motivated), I will be writing about my dramatic body overhaul I made happen during my senior year in high school. I’m going to post before and after pics as well as describe, in detail, just how I was able to make such a drastic change to my body at such a young age and in such a short period of time.

I’m also going to write about my current physical condition and what I would like to do to change my body for the better. It’s going on 8 years since my 18th birthday. Currently, I look and feel like my body has been neglected for 8 years. Okay, maybe it’s not THAT bad. But, it is bad enough.

What I can tell you is this.

  • I NEVER in my entire life have taken any type of illegal steroids. I have used supplements.
  • I have bad genes and a slow metabolism. Nearly my entire family is very overweight. It’s not an excuse for being a fat ass but rather, just an obstacle that needs to be overcome. I have never blamed my physical condition (when it is poor) on my genes, metabolism, etc.
  • I’m not very tall. While I am taller than your average Joe (I between 5’ 11” and 6’ 0”) I am not very tall and consider myself to have quite the average frame.
  • I have a long torso and short legs.
  • When I put on weight, it goes to my stomach and upper thighs.

I’m telling you all of this because I want you to know that if you’re someone who didn’t have a winning ticket in the genetics lottery, you can still achieve amazing physical gains through hard work, dedication, and mental toughness.

Each time I look at my before and after pics I get motivated. Every time I think about how amazing my body once looked, I get motivated.

I want you to get motivated with me!
